Sometimes, we make simple things in life more complicated then they are.
Exhibit A: What outfit to wear
Exhibit B: What we should do for our workout
There was a time in my life when both of these things took up way more time than they needed to.
Rewind back to middle school, and thank God for patient moms and little sisters, because i would spend upwards of an hour and a half getting ready for school each morning—doing my makeup, straightening my hair, changing my outfit (7 times!).
The same thing goes for my workouts.
In my obsessive gym days, I spent hours scouring Pinterest, bodybuilding.com and CrossFit websites for the perfect workouts—and carefully planned and plotted every minute and hour into my schedule.
Leg day. Back day. Cardio day (like every day). This class or that class.
Oy vey! So many hours lost to clothes and workouts (and don’t even get me started on food).
Girl, you and I have got so many other cool things to “worry about” outside of the gym or the clothes on our bodies…so why spend unnecessary time agonizing over these things?

Enter: 7 Looks + 7 Do-Anywhere Workouts to bring more time, function and fun to your life (so you can go out there and cure cancer, play with your kids, treat a friend to coffee, work on your proposal, feel confident and comfortable in your own skin, and do all the other amazing things you were meant to do).
3 Looks to Take You From the Gym to the Street
First things first…Let’s talk about no-thought-style.
Do you have that “go to” outfit?
You know—that one that is always on top of your laundry and that one you reach for (like all the time).
That one that takes no extra thinking—and you feel 100% comfortable and confident in?
I live in yoga pants.
Lululemon speed tights are totally a legit staple of any outfit—casual and dressy alike (especially here in Austin):
Sporty: Pair them with a Swiftly tank + tennis shoes
Chic: Throw a tunic over it with a pair of shimmery ballet flats
Vogue: Strap on a pair of black wedges + Kendra Scott pendant necklace + black blouse.
Boom.
Outfits for days—and just ONE magical pair of pants.
I’m all about function + comfort + universal-use, so, in my opinion, yoga pants are totally acceptable for any occasion.
No matter what your “go-to” outfit is—it feels great to feel great, doesn’t it?
There’s nothing worse than being stuck in a stiff pair of jeans, a pair of wedges digging into your skin, or a complicated blouse all day.
That said, (like my yoga pants) I scoured out some must-have comfy, lifestyle looks to easily take you from the gym to street to dressed up to dressed down, for any occasion.
