Charles Mayfield lives in East Tennessee with his family. Charles is an entrepreneur and co-author of several best-selling cookbooks: Paleo Comfort Foods, Quick and Easy Paleo Comfort Foods & Weeknight Paleo. Charles founded Mayfield Pastures in 2016 following an 8-year careers as the co-founder of Atlanta Strength and Conditioning. Mayfield Pastures is a regenerative farm focused on sustainable meat production and soil regeneration utilizing managed grazing and a multi-speciation approach to building organic matter.
In 2019, Charles was a founding principal of the MMH Group. MMH is a vertically integrated seed to consumer industrial hemp business focused on the utilization of the hemp plant as a catalyst to health for humans and the land. Charles is also a licensed insurance agent and heads a team with Athens Insurance that is focused on the construction, food, beverage and ancestral health space.
Charles has three children (Dylan-23, Scott-6 & Adelyn-4). When he isn’t working, you’ll find him hunting, gardening or honing his artisanal distilling craft on the farm. He is a perineal speaker at the Paleo Fx conference in Austin Texas and has consulted businesses and the Navy Special Warfare community on health, regenerative agriculture and cooking.
